There are so many things to love about our Instagram community. Firstly the wonderful people who hang out there, whose love and passion is making art and sharing it with interested audiences. It is the beautiful and positive side of social media. We have beginners and professionals all sharing their incredible work, learning from each other, and encouraging one another. I have met some incredible and inspiring people on Instagram, and many of them are our very own ambassadors or customers. I can also call some of them my friends. It makes me so proud to see these talented people using their Life of Colour Pens to make such brilliant works of art.
Colourful Christmas Ideas from our Community
So when I put out a Christmas challenge to our community, I was inundated with creative and colourful entries to this challenge. It's pretty amazing what you can do with some watercolour brush pens, some paper, and some fancy ideas!
Take a look at some of the pieces below.
From top to bottom
@kikicustomart @phunky.lettering @naptimepress
@loveallthingsart @harpers.lettering @letteringbykaren @letteringbykaren
The challenge was; 1 piece of art using Life of Colour Pens is 1 entry to a draw to win a $50 Amazon voucher. On top of that each entrant could tag a friend in their post and that friend went into the draw to win a free set of Life of Colour Pens. We had over 60 submissions and Jenna from @Naptimepress won the voucher. I am delighted to say that a new friend from India won the pens. It was the very first time that a set of Life of Colour Pens was shipped off to India...which is super exciting, it opens up a whole new world of possibilities (both for me and for @_.written_expressions)
Please visit our Instagram to see the rest of the Christmas submissions. If you already have your set of Life of Colour Watercolour Brush Pens then you can use some of these ideas for your Christmas cards, Christmas table name tags, door signs, Christmas/holiday journals or for some holiday doodling fun. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist you are sure to pick up some awesome new ideas over there. In some cases we got the process videos.
I put together this compilation of videos from @theprettinessproject and @letteringbykaren.
Please watch and learn some of their techniques.
I am wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy year. Thank you for your business this year, or thank you for reading my blog. Wishing you all a colourful Christmas and year ahead. Jodi
