Spring Theme "Anything but Rocks" Competition

This week we had a competition on our new Facebook group. Paint on anything in your home...just not a rock, using the theme Spring as an inspiration.

The winner has just been announced by our resident artist, Laura. Read her message below.

Hello Life of Colour community! My name is Laura and I'm so glad that Jodi invited me to be a part of the first Spring weekly challenge! Going over all your amazing entries made it very hard to choose only one because they are all so special and unique!! Working with Life of Colour has introduced me into the wonderful world of rock painting so I'm really excited that you also stepped outside of you comfort zone for this challenge! Just as a recap, you painted on coasters, bottles, votives, cans, boxes, shoes, jackets... And many more items! So cudos to all of you for making something so creative! I'm pretty sure you'll never look at household items the same way and you'll add a bit of colour everywhere 😊

🎉🎉🎉 Now for the winning piece... It was made by Shari Chapman and her daughter using a very different medium: leaves! Loved that they added spring colours to each leaf and also arranged them into a flower 🌸 Congratulations! You'll be getting a box of the glitter pens, enjoy! 🎉🎉🎉
